Pick a local folder and it recursively collects PDF, EPUB, JPEG/JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, WebP, AVIF and TIFF files (multi-select), sorts them by natural filename order and reads them one after another. The right-hand pane is the same sorted list — click any entry to jump. PDFs page back/forth with a page-number box in between (reaching either end continues into the neighbouring file), EPUBs get Home / Prev / Next plus a chapter jump, and each image file counts as one page. Everything is decoded locally in the browser; files are never uploaded.
Belongs to “Readers”: Pick a local folder and read comics or e-books in order — nothing is uploaded.
- Click "Choose folder" and grant a local directory; the tool scans it recursively and sorts naturally (ch. 2 comes before ch. 10). Switch between "folder then name" and "filename only" ordering.
- The right pane lists every matched file — click one to open it. Collapse it when you do not need it ("Hide list" in the toolbar or the ✕ on the panel); the reader then spans the full row and your choice is remembered. PDFs page back/forth with the page box in between for jumping; EPUBs get Home, Prev, Next and a chapter dropdown.
- Formats are multi-select: PDF, EPUB, MOBI/AZW (.mobi/.prc/.azw/.azw3), JPEG/JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, WebP, AVIF, TIFF. Untick and rescan to switch the set.
- The top-right controls jump between previous/next file. "Page fill" covers the whole page without the Fullscreen API, while "Fullscreen" uses the browser API — click the same button again or press Esc to exit. Ctrl + mouse wheel zooms. "Auto play" at the bottom turns pages every 3–20 seconds and stops at the end.
- Your last position is remembered per library — pick the same folder again and you resume where you left off. Neighbouring images are pre-decoded so page turns do not wait.
- "Scroll" is continuous reading: pages stack vertically, and the mouse wheel, a finger swipe on mobile, or holding the left mouse button and dragging all read on without turning pages. Images form one long strip of the whole library, PDFs lay out every page, EPUBs stitch the whole book into one flow.
- Scroll mode only materialises pages near the viewport (distant ones are released), so a 500-page PDF or a 1000-image library will not exhaust memory. The display mode (fit width/fit page and 50%–200%) works there too; the scroll position syncs to the current page — the list highlight and progress memory keep working.
- "Spread" shows the current item next to the next one (PDF groups two pages per turn) — handy for wide double-page art on landscape screens. EPUB has no spread since a section is one page, and spread is mutually exclusive with scroll mode.
- Keyboard: ← / ↑ previous page, → / ↓ / Space next page, Home returns to the first chapter in EPUB.
- Files are decoded only in your browser — never uploaded and never written to disk.

FAQ
- How well is MOBI / AZW3 supported?
- Unencrypted Mobipocket text (both PalmDOC and uncompressed) is supported: body text, embedded images and the record-0 table of contents all work, along with paging, scroll mode, spread and auto play. DRM-protected files are refused up front, and HUFF/CDIC-compressed books (most store titles) are not supported yet — the reader says so clearly. Convert to EPUB to read those.
- Why does nothing happen when I click "Choose folder"?
- Folder picking relies on the File System Access API (Chromium browsers such as Chrome/Edge) and must be triggered by a user click. If unsupported, the page shows a plain file chooser that can add whole directories.
- How is the file order decided?
- The default is "folder then name": folders sort by name, files sort by name inside each folder, and numbers compare by value (so "Chapter 2" comes before "Chapter 10"). If your chapters are spread across several subfolders, switch the sort to "filename only" to read straight through.
- What happens at the last page of a PDF?
- It continues into the next file in the list; pressing Previous on the first page goes back to the last page of the previous file. To stay inside one file, just click it directly in the right-hand list.
- How are EPUB "previous / next" defined?
- They move along the EPUB spine (the publisher-defined reading order), one section per page. "Home" returns to the start of the first chapter, and the chapter dropdown jumps to any entry in the table of contents.
- Can I resume where I left off after closing the page?
- Yes. Progress (file + page) is stored locally per library, so re-picking the same folder resumes automatically; if the file was removed or renamed it falls back to the first one.
- How is scroll reading different from page turning?
- Page mode shows one page per screen and moves with prev/next or the page box. Scroll mode lays every page out as one long flow — wheel down, swipe up on mobile, or hold the left button and drag. You can switch any time and it lands on the page you were reading.
- A scanned image fails to open — what now?
- Check that your browser can decode the format (some browsers do not handle TIFF/AVIF). Note that DRM-protected EPUBs cannot be parsed and will report a read error.
